I'm off to day two of my fine leather bookbinding workshop in the small art community of Fish Creek, WI. We made the book structure yesterday, and today we are working on the cover decoration. No Holloween parties for me the second year in a row, but this is completely worth it.

I'm sitting in the Phoenix airport waiting to board my flight back to Chicago...and feeling down about it as usual. Saturday, Noir and I went to a friend's wedding in Tucson. I went to this awesome punk rock bar last night (even though it was Metal Sunday, and I have never really been in to Metal). Coming down from the high of last week has been difficult. After so much excitement, everything else feels kind of dull. I kind of felt like this after the wedding as well...Just a quick thought.

I start work tomorrow, something I haven't done in 9 long days. Hopefully having that sort of distraction will help.
