Here is a photo of my progress thus far on Delphine. I'm getting near to the end of this section. Sometime this week I'm going to put in another lifeline and try it on to make sure it's long enough.

We went dancing tonight at the Albany Elks Lodge. We were expecting to work on our East Coast Swing, but we were surprised to find that we were learning the Lindy Hop (West Coast Swing). It was a challenge, but by the time we left we managed to (mostly) get our feet to go the way they were supposed to. And we had fun, of course. :-)

I have a sweet tooth. I think it's genetic. These candies were brought from Taiwan by my step-uncle when he and his family were in the States around Christmas. I think they are plum flavored, but the image on the wrapper is of grapes, so I'm not sure (they don't taste like American grape candy). No picture yesterday due to tax returns being filed. To make up for it, here are two from today.

First up, chopped ivy. This building is relatively new, and obviously the vines are being restricted (though why they planted vines if they didn't want them to grow on the building, I'm not sure).

On my way home from church tonight, I noticed in my rear view mirror the huge red moon rising over the city of Troy. Rather than go straight home, I drove around for a bit trying to get a good vantage point from which to take a picture.
