Kenshin again!

I've been thinking about going to Katsu since I really want to see for myself this shiny venue and also because I am so badly feeling con-deprivation, haha. By any chance are there at least any openings in your hotel room, or has that been filled? Just feeling out for whatever may already be available before I build up plans from scratch. >_>

Our room currently has 4 but we can probably fit a 5th if you have some kind of bedding/sleeping bag or anything? :3 I can also check with the others if they're okay with a 5th (though I'm pretty sure it should be fine. ^^) It would be great if you could go~ Really love the venue. I wasn't originally planning to go again but between the awesome hotel and the fact that Katsucon has always been my favourite con, couldn't not go for it next year. :p

I would definitely have bedding to bring along with me. I'd probably bring it even if there was bed space, haha. ^^ Chat with your roomies and let me know how they feel with a 5th person though, maybe if it was a semi-last minute add-on since lack of consistant cash flow makes everything in my life an uncertaintly right now. x__x

There's Con-G the weekend before though, so missing Katsu wouldn't be too terrible, haha.

Yepperoni. I didn't really want to talk about it in general for some reason. Maybe talking about it makes it seem more like it happened and oh-goodness-suddenly-so-much-more-work! *laughs* Like today. :p We almost half the team gone, it was a pretty good thing I've been upped or the other seniors would have way too much work between the two of them. That said, the promo happened a little early for myself and another coworker because they're apparently changing the review structure to once a year from twice a year? So the next time promotions happen won't be until January 2013 or something? That's so messed up. They aren't making any good changes recently. >_

Woo! More Kenshin is always good, whether they made him more angular or not. I just hope you're happy in your new position at work now. I know what responsibility feels like, and if they aren't giving you any sort of reward for the increased effort, then maybe finance isn't the best sector? I dunno, you always seemed stressed trying to learn the manuals they gave you.

That said, I am definitely envious of salaried people lmao

I can handle the stress as this job pretty okay. Signing off is a little nerve wracking at the moment but otherwise I'll get used to it, I'm sure. It's definitely still interesting though the stuff isn't sinking in as nicely as I would like it to. Still have to wrestle with some of the new concepts I encounter every time. Hoping it will get a little better in that respect soon.

You aren't on salary? I always thought you were. :o

And nah, I was getting paid minimum wage hourly which is what led to my current state of job searching heh There are a few positions for teachers but those are also part time hourly.

Oh, that's not what those were, lol. Those were my CSC textbooks. XP I was studying for my course's exams. Related to work but not from work. They never give us anything. >_>

Eh? You did not know about the Kenshin OVA? There are actually 2, if I know right. The first about Kenshin's cross wound, and the other happens after the series, I believe.

Yep, I know of the two older OVAs however this one, the third, is a retelling of the Kyoto/Shishio arc. Part 1 (or its preview) is due out at the end of this year, I think.

Oh... that's good to know. Maybe they did the remake is parallel to the live action that'll come out next year?
