Idiomatic

Brother came out to ask for my help on a translation.  It seems the Germans have a very tasteful euphemism for being on the toilet.  The literal translation is being "in your quiet little place."

Anyone got any suggestions for an equally tasteful English translation?

Tell him NOT to use "pop a squat." That's all I've got . . .

Uuuuuuuh ... I don't suppose "in the library" suffices, huh?

(Oh, and Lizzy's comment made me laugh out loud. Without stopping. For a good 30 seconds ...)

My father loved to threaten that when our friends called, he would tell them that we were "on the throne."
