Alaric will be 8 months old this weekend. Wow. I have no idea how this happened.
My brain, she is not the same, remembering sort of brain she used to be.

It's been a while. I am finding time management with a baby to be challenging impossible.
Alaric will be three months old tomorrow. The mind boggles.

Surely only crazy people rip out their carpeting and replace it with (DIY) hardwood flooring, with a 2-month old baby. Who is somehow napping through this.
There are days more of this to come. Or maybe weeks, if one counts all the ramifications... baseboards, transitional strips, doors that no longer hang right, etc.

I'm still here, we're all well, and I can't believe it's been about a week since I even turned my computer on, much less actually tried using it. I suck at typing while nursing, btw--apparently a skill I need to acquire.
I can't believe I'm this kid's mom. That about sums up my week.

Alaric will be discharged tomorrow. He's jumping through his last hoop now-- proving he won't asphyxiate in his carseat. His platelet levels were terrible until suddenly yesterday they stabilized; today they nearly doubled. All his other problems have resolved themselves already.
