My ears are older than the rest of me

Mosquito Ringtones , i.e.ringtones that can't be heard by those over 30, such as parents and teachers.

Will could hear 16khz (age range 30 & younger).  The highest range I could hear definitively was 12khz (50 & younger), and even that I could only hear once.  The second time it just made my ears vibrate.

How old are your ears?

Mine are 27, I teach high school, and I hear those effing ring tones ALL THE DAMN TIME!!! I call students on it every single time, and they're always shocked I can hear them.

Mine are 49. No surprise, repeated exposure to high explosive has a tendency to be bad for the hearing ;)

Nothing from 14khz 49 & Younger on down. Too much rock at high volume.

FWIW, my wife not only looks like a kid, she hears like one too. Also works in public school.
