I totally agree with you that this idea of hypertexts is suitable for children as nowadays they grow up with all sorts of computer games and other technical interactivities.
I also came to the same conclusion with Megan Heyward's visit to our lecture, It didn't help me much as well.

 Hi Katia,
just like you I liked David Malouf's introduction about his novel. I never thought that an author may not know as much about his book as a very good reader. However, now that I heared David Malouf's explanation about why this is very possible I can understand it very well.

I think you're right, it would be really scary if in the end we all turned out to be like everybody else. However, as you mentioned in your entry, there are fortunately enough people in our world who can express themselves very well and stand out off the crowd.

I have to admit that in the beginning I felt about the poems like you did. I never could get anything out of them. The paintings which I enjoyed most are ‘Group of Aborigines, 1953’ and ‘Sunday Evening, 1941’ by Russel Drysdale.
