May 1st (Labour Day) and Mozart
Contrary to weather reports, this 1st of May was very sunny. My dad, who had spent two nights in Vienna after our trip to Bratislava yesterday, agreed to do some sightseeing with me. Slovakia and Crown Prince Rudolf
Today, my dad and I finally got to do what we had planned for months: we met in Bratislava and spent half of the day there. Bratislava/Pressburg is the capital of Slovakia and only ~ 30 miles away from Vienna. Old Town was really beautiful, it reminded me of the Grimm's fairy tale films. WOMBAT Results
Well, I'm back at my dorm now. Which means, I finally got to look at my W.O.M.B.A.T. results, since I forgot to take the code with me when I visited my parents.
I got an Acceptable, which I really didn't count on. And that's completely fine with me. Especially because I got the same grade on the TLC Quiz, lol. -
Last Day at Home
So..tonight, at 10:26 p.m., I'm going to be off to Vienna again. One last day with my family before I see them again in August. My dad is leaving for Slovakia this afternoon already. Afterwards, my mom and I will go visit my grandmother. Then, I'm going to watch the 6th episode of "Grey's Anatomy" - something a lot of my fellow students started ( Read more... ) -

On this - unfortunately rather rainy - Easter Sunday, I want to wish "Happy Easter" to everyone who celebrates it !!

Busy Weekend
Friday was my last day of uni before Easter Break. After two lectures in the morning, dissection lab in the afternoon, I took the EuroNight train to Hamburg (via Hannover) in the evening. Early the next morning, 6:13 AM to be precise, I got out in the lovely (ha,ha) capital of Lower Saxony.

Having listened to three lectures about the biochemistry and physiology of steroid hormones, I decided to take a break from my "non-fiction" biochemistry book and make a list of my all-time favourite works of fiction. The authors are actually quite international:).
