19 is our forecasted overnight temperature here in frosty/icy Dallas. Our high today was at 7am or so, when it was 33 degrees.

And it's currently 27.

Hey, I suck it up and don't whine in the summer when it's so hot and humid that you go outside and *think* you're sweating, but actually it's just condensation forming on you because your skin temp is below the current dew point, and meanwhile my friends in the northeast are whining about the horrible high-of-85 heat wave. *I* get to whine about 42. :)

Just think, you could live someplace like North Dakota with summer highs above 100°F and winter lows of as low as -60°F! Woo!

Ack. ;)

... ammend that to add I think it's really funny that the coldest I've ever seen it was in North Dakota around New Years one year. -95°F once windchill was figured in... and yet I lived in Fairbanks, Alaska for 7 years!

Whoa, that's almost as cold as it is here! (Of course, we have the lovely wind tunnel thing going on thanks to all the skyscrapers.) I'm starting to seriously contemplate relocating to Florida for half the year or something.
