N: Daddy and I are good at pushing buttons. That's why we are boys.

OK, he was referring to the buttons you push to walk across the street, but it seemed pretty fitting for life in general LOL.

Today's a day off, so we should have a fun day.

I took our 10 year old jeep into the mechanic this morning because of a rattle in the exhaust system. Since the darn car is 10 years old and only gets driven on fairly short trips now, I figured I had a hole in the exhaust somewhere. Three days since N last nursed. He may not know it yet, but he's weaned. I don't plan to let him nurse again, which I'm pretty sure won't go over well when he does ask again. N hasn't nursed in 48 hours!!! I'm not going to say he's weaned, but we are definitely on the road! He's let my mom put him to bed the last two nights. He asked to nurse this morning, but went back to sleep on my shoulder instead. I can't believe that this part of our relationship is about to end. Yesterday was a wonderful day. It didn't start out great as we had the usual difficulties actually getting out the door. We went to the library for story time and N did better.
