I was looking about the wtf_inc lj and someone posted a "bad wedding dress". I agreed with it being bad but one poster commented that it wasn't that bad and they'd seen worse and posted a link to a website full of bad wedding dresses. Some I agree with, some I don't. I had a musical revelation today. So there's a particular piece that I've played for church for YEARS. The introduction is marked and the last measure has 3 beats instead of the four that are in the measure but every time I'd ever heard it played as a child there was a fermata on that last beat. This is a group of seven kids from Saint Francis of Assisi School, grades 6,7 and 8 playing a piece entitled the Elmhurst Quartet. Bloody awesome! They got a 1+ rating and Best in Center at contest.
