UC Davis is hosting the "Graduate School Information Day" today in Freeborn.

The article also notes that this year's event is especially important because UCD has made the switch from its own application to an online application corporation called Embark.

The event runs from 10 am to 2 pm.

1. For those of you who've seen the Golden Age, was it good? What was it rated? How historically accurate is it?

2. A guy at work has met someone oneline, and she wants him to guess her last name. The clues are:

a. English origin
b. Could be considered embarassing
c. Has relatives with the same last name in the Napa wine

I'm par-boiling a bunch of beef ribs in preparation for bbqing tomorrow. Now normally I just throw the resulting broth out. . . I don't know why, I just have never really done beef based soups in the past. But it smells pretty darn good ( Read more... )
