I feel the urge to start writing Iain/Elfrida fic. But of course, none of you will know them ;___;. Then what's the point, and where's the Eileanan fandom hiding, so that I actually have the odd reader expressing a more or less virulent opinion on my poor writing?!

The year seems to be kicking off well: I am almost done with the Romanian version of Il corsaro nero and La regina dei Caraibi -- both written by Emilio Salgari -- books that inspired one of my favourite childhood/teen movies, Il corsaro nero, starring a stunning Kabir Bedi and a lovely bunch of multicoloured and multilingual "coast brethren".
