Facebook is starting to piss me off more and more. There are the magical changes in privacy settings where, suddenly, whee! None of your content is private anymore! So, I have not descended into the bowels of sales-repdom quite yet, but my job seems to intend to make things as miserable as possible in the meantime by starting the entire staff on six-day workweeks, which may possibly continue all the way through the holidays. I had a fantastic two days off after Catette invited me on a spur-of-the-moment overnight trip to Wildwood, accomodations paid for (believe it or not) her middle school drama teacher. - We got the computers back last night. Mine had not one but eight viruses. Rebecca's had 68 viruses. For serious. They installed new virus-protection software for both of us. (I had a program but it was out of date. I'm not sure if Rebecca had any protection ( Read more... ) -

Last week, Rebecca's computer started making a horrible grinding noise and freezing up after she tried to stream So You Think You Can Dance. I took it to be checked out but the guy at the repair place thought the issue was caused by the power supply being loose. (I don't know how that happened. Mammatus clouds!
Rebecca and I went to Giant today. I realized that I forgot to bring one of the burnt-out lightbulbs from our kitchen fan so I could find the appropriate replacements, so I ran home really quick to get it. When I got back, I noticed mammatus clouds above the parking lot. I've only ever seen these in photos before. They're often associated with ( Read more... )
