Just had a filling done, replacing an old one that got decay under it. While having it done, the dentist told me that the new decay was deep enough to go to the root and so the root was exposed. They put medicine on the root and then covered it over with a new filling, but it's a 50/50 chance whether the nerve will accept it or not. If not - ( Read more... )

Steve has been with Judy every day and seems to be helping. He's taking the kids to the park, helping with arrangements, helping Judy to make decisions. He is going to stay until Wednesday night. I really miss him. I am not sure if he's ever been gone from home for a full week without me. But he is needed there ( Read more... )

I was supposed to be in New Jersey today, but I am home early. Yesterday morning at 7:30 Pacific Steve called me very upset. Walker had vomited bile and then had diarrhea in the box and on the den carpet. Then he didn't want to eat. Steve finally got him to eat and take his prednisone but the vet told him to stop giving him the amoxycillin ( Read more... )

Walker has now had three doses of chemo and has had no side effects as far as we can tell. We are encouraged. He seems now to be a bit constipated but what he gets out is well-formed poops - we haven't seen that in some time so this is encouraging! We are more hopeful today ( Read more... )

We just gave Walker his first chemo pill. We're both sick over it. We're giving our boy poison. We were advised not to touch the pills but yet we're having Walker ingest them? This is awful. But we have no choice ( Read more... )
