I am no longer a CA voter but I would like to ask any Californian reading this to consider signing this petition. It would benefit people working in education who now pay into the Teachers' Retirement System. If the have also paid into Social Security their SS benefits are currently reduced or eliminated if they are receiving TRS benefits. ( Read more... )

Well if it wasn't for khopri, I wouldn't have made it out of the house last night, so I'm glad he was really keen on going. Do I dare get into bed? Fala chased a big Texas sized centipede into our bed this morning. I shook it out of the covers later and I think it went under the bed.
