I feel a bit sad that Lucas and Haley aren't the friends they once were anymore, it's believable, and it works, but the laley-friendship-fangirl heart in me breaks. I'm liking the paley-ness though, it's a friendship in the show that had alot of potential until they messed with it

It was kind of back and forth with how I wanted to write the Luke/Haley friendship. I just ultimately felt that when you go off to college, you change. Like, most people fundamentally change in some way (and I'm not saying it's a bad thing in the slightest), and that as a result, your friendships change too. That's what I saw happening there. And hopefully you'll continue to enjoy all things H/P. (I typed that without the slash, and all I saw was Harry Potter, so I had to fix it. Heh.)
I agree, in a lot of ways. Really, why is the divorce rate so high? Because, as people get older, they change. And they don't always change together. While I'm never opposed to NH get together at 16 and stay that way forever (after lots of heartache and whatnot) stories - and I've written a couple! - in the real world, it is hard to imagine a scenario where that could work. Yeah, I know what you mean!
oh man...never did I think I'd see the day where a prologue and two chapters in would I be completely gone on a story, hanging on to every word. In fact, last time I did that I believe I was reading TOLB and GiAB...so obviously you're on to something good here. You deserve a pat on the back...as do I, for catching on to such a marvelous thing! lol Absolutely amazing I can't wait to see what occurs during their visit back to Tree Hill! Great job!
I can't help but shudder a bit every time the Brooke/car situation is brought up. It just, it's so... gah. I'm not really looking forward to the details of that, even if I'm totally curious. How twisted. LOL

I didn't mind tweaking the L/H friendship because a lot of friendships ebb and flow like that, even though I don't think theirs necessarily would. It is very realistic, though, so there's that. Plus, Peyton can just be on Haley's side. She will never, ever feel an obligation of any sort to Nathan that Luke will always have, and Haley needs that.
Yippee! A brand new chapter. My curiousity has yet to waiver. I'm seriously so, so wondering where all of this is headed, how paths are going to cross, why everything is the way it is

I've read a bunch of your other stories and I've loved all of them. I especially loved WPCtS and Going to the Chapel (do you still plan on writing a third story for that series?)
