On Monday afternoon we found a note taped to our front door. I assumed that it was some kind of notice from our apartment office as they recently had a change in staff and ownership. I am happy with my new position. I like that I can get to work in about 10 minutes. It sure beats being on the road for an hour.
That's all for now.

Ok...I am happy to report that I now have job. Well actually, my first day is not until Monday. After 5 weeks off, I am ready to join the workforce again. I am happy to say that this time it is about a 20 minute drive. I will not be spending crazy hours stuck in traffic, and my new work hours will work with my school schedule ( Read more... )

So here I am. This Monday will mark one month of being unemployed. I've had two interviews this week and one scheduled for tomorrow. I have submitted so many resumes, but no luck yet. I started to get frustrated, but I am trying my hardest to remain positive.

There is not too much going on with me other than the job hunt.

It has rained here for what seems like forever. The record for the most rainy days in a row stands at 33. It rained for 30 days straight, stopped for one day and it has now resumed. This week my precious alarm clock has been going off at 4:45 am.  Since I still have not bought a car, T's Dad has been nice enough to lend us his car for this week.  In return I gotta drop him off at work before I head to work.  I drop him off at 5:25 am.  He doesn't start work until 7:30 am but for some weird reason he likes being there extra ( Read more... )
