Happy New Year
Had a quiet, low key evening last night with some good friends. I didn't get to drink, save for a few sips of a great wine, but I made up for it by noshing all evening long. Baby (uh .. babies) update
I'm going to try to put down thoughts here and there throughout this pregnancy. I'm not going to commit to a regular schedule but I'll do my best to write more than I have been writing. If you're not interested in more pregnancy speak, you can of course skip these entries; I'll cut accordingly.

Anyone need insulation?
We have almost a full package of insulation left over from one of my brother's fix-it projects (he insulated and closed in the garage ceiling from where the electricians tore it apart).
If you want it, it's yours ... it's R-19. You just need to come and get it. If I don't get any takers here, I'll post it on Craigslist or something. -

We went to Crush for dinner last night. We did the 8-course tasting menu and my brother did the wine pairings, which was really my way of getting to try all the pairings with the fabulous food. Hmmm
My neighbor has been clearing his walkway between his house and ours every day since the snow started. However, being that his house is situated about 5 feet of elevation higher than ours, that means he is scooping his snow and tossing it over the retaining wall onto our property. We now have a 5-foot high snowbank instead of a discernable ( Read more... ) -
Now I'm starting to get the snow hatin'.
Not because of the driving, and we have plenty of food ... but our water feature is freezing. Goddamnit. This is going to be fucking EXPENSIVE to fix if it keeps going and the underground waterpipes freeze ( Read more... ) -
