Say that you asked someone else when you heard there might be a time conflict and you'd like someone who can more easily schedule with you and won't need to work with too many time constraints. If you had known she would be able to, you woulnd't have asked someone else, but it's just the way the cookie crumbles. Sorry. Had to know sooner rather than later and didn't know when you'd know. I'm sure she'll understand.
