YOU SHOULD IM ME BECAUSE I WOULD LOVE TO TALK TO YOU. I hope you didn't ever feel awkward when we chatted before! I know there were a lot of silences and convos that trailed into oblivion but like, that's just me sucking at conversation and I didn't find it awkward at all.

iawtp, completely and totally. i hate talking to people over the internet for the first few times because mostly, it's really nerve-wracking. and because i don't connect with most of my friends (both online and off) the way i used to and i don't want to make new friends for the exact same reason. i absolutely hate the way i can't seem to think of anything to say after about two lines of conversation, and most of all, i hate the fact that i am too scared to do anything about it.

I agree wholeheartedly with the nerve-wracking part. It seems that with some people, I can talk to them like I've known them forever right of the bat. With other people, it's just so difficult and like pulling teeth. I never know what to say and what they would want to talk about and aslkjdjf. I can really relate to you, though.

I think you can definitely do it. You're really smart and witty, but you're shy, which can be really difficult for some people. 8| If you IM me, know that I won't ever turn you away [though I might not be there, since my computer is on pretty much 24/7]. And I'll IM you when I see you online. >:
