So I told the bosses that we needed to have some kind of "Company Day"... we've been working hard, had some turnover, and haven't been very good at doing things to bring the team together.

I was thinking some drinks on our patio and mini-putt in our office (sounds dull, but you should try it!).  They upped me.

Craziness.  I came home from my ortho appt to find the street blocked off and "Emergency Task Force" officers swarming the building next door.  The streets remained blocked for over an hour, street cars lined up bumper to bumper, their passengers long since vacated.
