So this past weekend i went to see ( Michelle )

For those of you who haven't heard: I'm single again. Michelle and I broke up a few weeks ago. I'm alright, on my way to good.

I'm not gonna leave any details here but for those who want to check on me or are curious for details i think ya'll can come up with ways of contacting me.

well... i'm in CT now. All moved in and i start work on monday!! i'm a big boy now!

A few weeks ago there was a riot here at Penn State because we won a football game. Michelle got some photos for work (the Centre Daily Times). But then one of her photos was bought from the CDT by US News and World Report! Needless to say I'm really proud of her and the story can be read here.

A little back story: I interviewed with a company in CT about 2.5 weeks ago. About a week ago i found that my adviser has a potential Ph.D. project that I could work on. I had to made a decision as to whether i wanted to get on that project or not by yesterday. I decided that if the company i interviewed with wanted to hire me i'd take the job and ( Read more... )

Tonight I surprised Michelle by taking her to a nice restaurant. Everything was going well until... well i don't really remember exactly how it went but i brought up the future and the possibility of getting engaged in the not so distant future... which of course is kinda scary. I suppose its time for a quick update.

School:
At the end of October i will no longer be receiving money.
I have no Ph.D. project.
I must find a job soon and start in November.
I should finish my M.S. thesis in Oct. but if i don't i'll still take a job and finish it soon.

Girlfriend:
My girlfriend is amazing and i love her.

My baby sister is married. I'm not sure how i feel about this... its just sinking in that it happened and i was there! 4 days ago!!  I did get some harassment about being next but no real pressure.  It was nice, hectic, ya know the usual wedding stuff. I'm really looking forward to July when i go to a wedding in Jamaica!!!
