I just learned today that the author of "Hero" and the producer of the Narnia movies died 3 days ago. He was only 39. I met Perry Moore in 2009 at Comic Con in SD. He was on the Gays in Comics Panel. He was the main reason why I went to that panel. I had just read his novel "Hero" and was eager to hopefully meet the author.( "Hero" is a great book ( Read more... )

Today I went to The Grove in LA for Matthew Morrison's (Will Schuster on Glee) first ever concert! This is the most awesome, inspirational and kick-ass thing I have seen in a LONG time! A high school senior at Maria Carillo High School comes out to her school during a MLK, Jr assembly and speaks eloquently, passionately and honestly about equality and coming to terms with who she is.

This is one of the best fanvids I've seen. The song choice is perfect, the editing is good, and the clip choices are great. It does a great job of showing how much the Trio have grown (in all ways) over the years and their journey is still "marching on".
