This weekend was amazing as was the last. I visited the Emily both times and had a few exciting things happen. I saw my brother and his wife along with my nephew and this most recent weekend I went to a couple of concerts (Revolver Modele/Divorcee/Superdanger and Snakebird/Swiss Army/Doomtree/Sims). I finished Palahniuk's "Lullaby" in 6 days. On to... I'm not sure.

So, I bought some Knob Creek the other day. It's pretty delicious. I've found that I enjoy hard liquor if it's really nice stuff and costs more than I should spend on alcohol. I think I'm less funny than I used to be. I'm not sure that I made anyone laugh today and that has always been my goal in life... hmmm... I'm not sad about this, I just want to look into it. Is it the fact that I'm constantly surrounded by people in terrible shift-changing jobs? Or is it because I don't watch Comedy Central as much as I used to?

So, I'm gonna be working extra-hard this week at 3M. I decided to put in 10 hours a day for today, Wednesday, and Thursday. With this I can make time and a half by 5 o'clock on Friday and all through the weekend because I'll be over 40 hours for the week. 3M is ok, but it just gets so monotonous. Went to Jackpot Junction tonight with Smurf, Trever, and Jill. It was a good time and hopefully at least Smurf and I can hang out more over the summer since we're both in New Ulm for a good portion of it all. He's working at Herman the German has he always had.
