What's left:

1/2 c corn salsa
1 bunch celery
2 dill pickles
4 sweet pickles
1 1/2 c orange juice
2 peppermint patties

None of that stuff can really be combined to make a meal, but wow, I'm so sick of rice that I don't think I'll have any for quite a while.

I'm so impressed you did this lady. In our house it's a minor coup if we manage to make a meal without going out and buying something everytime, but you've been at it a _long_time_. I wonder what this experiment would look like in our house.

It would probably be hard to come up with something coherent for more than 2 people. You could go the tapas route instead. You might be surprised at how much food you do have.

You could host a leftovers party and have people bring things to cook. Ah, imagine the cleanup.

you know, you can do this with toiletries and cleaners as well. It is a really good reminder of how frivolous we tend to be and when dollars are spare (and when not) a good practice to see what it is that you really have in abundance.
