[In Person Class]

Alright everybody. Time for your practical.

You each have a ball in front of you. I want you to use a spell, doesn't matter which kind, to do something to the ball. Push it across the room, call it to you, make it levitate, doesn't matter for right now. Just NO WORDS. This room should be silent as a pin drop.

Aaaaaand GO!

Alfred stared at his ball, lips pursed, looking determined. He had to get it right this time-- failing at a practical was so much more frustrating than failing at an essay.

He raised his wand. "Ac-- No, aw, crap."

The ball Fakir had banished across the room just kept on going, eventually stopping--when it hit Alfred in the back of the head.

"Hey, what the--?" Alfred put a hand to the back of his head, whirling around to see where the ball had come from. "Depulso!" He flicked his wand, sending his own ball across the room toward Fakir's nose.

The ball hit him square in the face, and after reeling from the hit, Fakir glared and silently cast a shrinking charm on Alfred's ball.

Tohru stared hard at the ball, a look of concentration on her face as she held her wand out. The ball slowly levitated and moved towards her. She looked so excited and clapped her hands gleefully.

"Good job, Tohru~" Spirit gave her an encouraging smile. She was fairing better than the others.

Studying the ball in front of him, Fakir considered for a moment before taking his wand out. Closing his eyes once to get a spell in mind, he opened them and swished his wand. The ball was banished across the room away from him.

[ooc: *facepalm* Why can't I reaaaaad. I thought there was ONE ball and they all had to control it. Fail. =_=]
