I've heard back from two of the four NYC photogs so far. They're both interested in working with me and available in January, one of them only for the first part of the month. I spent the last 35 minutes on the elliptical trainer, watching the snow fall. It's not sticking to the ground, but it's sticking to the trees and rhododendrons and honestly, it just looks so serene and beautiful, falling slowly downward...

I'm planning to visit NYC again in January, this time for at least a week. I'm going to buy fabric, hang out with my friends, and hopefully do some really exciting shoots. The shoot last night went marvelously well, despite my hair fiasco and my feeling of being totally unprepared. shot_inthe_dark is a pleasure to work with, easy-going, a great director, always thinking of the twist that can take a shoot from interesting to awesome. DAMMIT! If I can find a way to screw something up, inevitably I will. I have a shoot tonight, and my bangs are too short.
