yikes. as i started my last entry off...you'd think i'd have more time to update now that i don't have a job. however, the job situation should be changing on tuesday!!! i am supposed to start my new job that day. i say supposed to because i had to take a drug/background test (not that i was worried about passing the drug test, but if they base ( Read more... )

That's excellent about the job and school! And don't let your age stop you -- in 5 years you could be 34 and an ultra-sound technician...or, in 5 years you still be 34 and not an ultra-sound technician. You're going to be 34 either way!

thank you! that is exactly what i was thinking. like i said it's so scary and exciting (especially studying for the compass exam - i should have paid more attention in math, hahaha), but i'm so dang proud of myself for doing it.

Congratulations on the 80 lbs! That's awesome!

And good for you for deciding to go back to school. My boyfriend is pretty much the same age as you (he'll be 29 in Oct.), and he's trying to get back into school as well if we can find the $$. At my college, about 25% of undergrads are over the age of 26, and I go to a public university. It's not that uncommon anymore.

Love to talk to you more since you and I are around the same weight, and have alot of things in common. I am also a student and hope to get into Nursing program in 2011. I have been taking my prerequisites this past year and next year. I should find out by Christmas 2010 if I have been accepted for Fall 2011. I wanna know what the heck you did to lose so much in 19 weeks....Im inspired!
