On Wednesday I reported at 8am at Maricopa County Superior Court for jury duty. This is the third time in my life that I've had to go to jury duty, but the first time for Arizona. I was only there a few minutes before they announced that they were screening for a trial that would last 3 weeks. ugh. They managed to get enough people to say yes ( Read more... )

Today I visited two more sites, Aldie Mansion and Mill Creek Farm. Both are in Bucks county, Pa. They are a disadvantage to those driving up from MD, because they would be a bit farther than the other two places. Yesterday I booked a ticket to Philadelphia for this weekend. After talking to my mother (she's been calling reception places), it seems that to get a place for October, I gotta act fast. Over the weekend, Tim and I went to Brides by Demetrios in Scottsdale. I'd seen some interesting gowns on the web, so I made an appointment for Sunday to try them. In short, I didn't like anything.
