Two weeks ago, I got an email inviting me to the Oh My Godard Gallery in Las Vegas, to meet Michael Godard, the artist who created the Tipsy Gypsy painting in my bar room. Man do I feel stupid. I've begun the slow process of addressing the wedding invitations. I've discovered some disturbing typos, which leads me to believe that the engagement announcements made me look like a real idiot. Tim and I had a pretty busy weekend. We left around 7am on Saturday to make the 3 hr trip down to Tombstone. Right away, I was pretty disappointed with the town. I got braces on my bottom teeth last week. Man, does this suck. I forgot how much this sucked. I can't believe I actually volunteered myself for this kind of torture. I must be insane. On Monday, my mom called to tell me that she had to put down our family dog, Cleo. Cleo the Basset Hound was 16 years young and finally succumbed to kidney failure and cancer.This is a dog who ate entire loaves of bread, inhaled whole pizzas, chowed down on jelly beans and stole our hearts completely. Well I've talked about it for the past couple years, but I finally did it this weekend. The hound dog and I marched in the St. Patrick's Day parade, with about 50 other hounds.
