I know we haven't been around much of late, but I know some of you still care....
My beloved Stencil had a stroke this Friday night. He is stabilized and seems to be getting more strength and function, but he will have a long hard journey back to "normal."

If you pray, please say a few for his recovery.

It's definitely time to go higher tech around here. We've had something go wonky with our phone line, intermittently, for the past year. Actually, it doesn't even happen all that often. You know that bulletin board in every office where important work-related announcements get posted?
Well, at my new job, the board's most important announcement, today, was about The Flaming Lips' upcoming tour date.
That beats the hell out of fliers about sensitivity training and OSHA regulations.

And the proof is that the 10-week old kittens in my house seem to be quite frightened by the fact that it has been softly raining all day.
They've seen a couple of thunderstorms (which they don't like either), but never seen a full-day rain-out.
