On 2/8/2008, Barack Obama held a rally at Key Arena in Seattle. He's a hell of a public speaker and the venue was completely packed. Man, it'd be nice to have press access to one of these events and a better telephoto lens. :)

I just finished reading the sequel to Spin, Axis (both by Robert Charles Wilson). Spin was good, damned good... it won the Hugo the year it was published. Axis... I can’t really recommend this book. In mid-October 2007, I paid a visit to Los Angeles, CA. I went out there to visit a couple of old friends, and my cousin. I had a great time while I was out there. This was my first trip to L.A. since I was a kid, and I can certainly see going out there a few times a year to play.
