The more time I spend in the "real" world, the less I feel I've got in common with anyone in it.

Move to Western MA. There are still a lot of dumb and boring people around here, but there are also a lot more interesting people. :-)

In the last calendar year, I've moved from Storrs to Prospect, from Prospect to Southbury (which involved moving ALL of my parents' things), from Southbury to Brighton, and from Southbury AND Brighton to Cambridge, not to mention assisting in my parents' move from Southbury to Watertown. All things considered, I'd rather prefer not to move, or even hear the word "move", again for at least a year ;)

Haha.. yeah.. you sound like me a while earlier. Hmm... Montville to Preston, Preston to Storrs, Storrs to Preston, Preston to Willington, Willington to Storage Unit, Lived in a van for 2 months everywhere, Storage to Amherst. I can sympathize there. :-)

Man, you have no idea... I work with a bunch of car geeks (a subject where my knowledge is limited-- I have to keep my mouth shut so I don't sound ignorant). I also have to have dinner with a bunch of salesmen and business execs. I basically just sit in the corner and don't say anything. They probably just think I'm weird. I guess I'd agree with them.

Hmm. Yes, I can see how that'd be a bit of a problem. With me, it's really just a matter of still not fitting in with all of the interns and temps who work with me due to my social awkwardness and choice in hobbies (ie: STILL not drinking) and ALSO not fitting in with the bosses and important-types due to my complete lack of ambition and my utter detestation of the business world.

And I KNOW that EVERYONE there thinks I'm weird. Which is fine, because I am.

Well, thanks. I'm sure that's what I've got to look forward to.

Let's just start a club where we can be isolated and cool and dtachd.

Haha. Interesting idea. I've often thought of forming a club, both while in school and after graduating. However, I'm not too keen on the idea of clubs/groups of any kind... It gnaws at the individualistic portions of my brain something awful.

Yes. I know. I'm retarded :)
