Well the week started with yet another post office mix-up (the local PO thought mom's ashes were "hold for pick-up" and the cemetery was waiting for a delivery), we were finally able to get her to the cemetery on time for burial on Wednesday. There were a few family folks who came out, and a few of mom's old friends who I haven't seen for like 40 ( Read more... )

I put in an offer on a house today. My first house.

And not just any house.
