THAT was a waste of online ticket ordering.

After seeing the 12:30 AM showing of X-Men 3, I find myself disappointed. VERY disappointed.

There may be more ranting on this later, but at the moment, I'm much too tired.
Edit: Spoilers )

It wasn't really planned. It was more just me at 9:00 going "OMG X-MEN WANNA SEE!". But really, it sucked. Wasn't worth the midnight-thirty show.

I'm really picky about my movies, though. Not the most picky in the world, but I think probably more than the average moviegoer. This may sound like I'm making myself out to be some hotshot movie critic, but really, I'm not. It isn't as fun when you don't like as many movies.

I saw a clip on Leno where Logan decapitates a Sentinal. I don't know if it's the way they cut that scene to fit it better in the show, but they made Logan look like a buffoon and they managed to make such a cool move like Colossus chucking Wolverine into the air and Wolverine appearing triumphantly from behind the Sentinal's head look marvelously cheesy.

That being said, I'll still probably rent it. :)

Actually, I liked that part. So maybe it was cut weirdly.

Or possibly your greater familiarity with the comics was making you go WOOHOOOOO FASTBALL SPECIAL!! and embracing the cheesiness that is the Fastball Special. At least, that's what happened for me. :-)

Josh, give her the Juggernaut link!
