I have what my friend, Bonnie, refers to as a "City View." I'm on the back el of my building which is right up against the neighboring building. Between the two buildings I have a glimpse of downtown.

Hot Fuzz finally opened here in the US, so I made my boy take me. I told him we had to get there early because it was opening night and it might sell out, which was true (but we got in just fine). When I opened my mailbox today and saw a package within, I immediately knew that my first installment of The Wizard Rock Club had arrived. Luckily I was on my way to pick up Rakka to do some cake accessory shopping for the Edible Book Festival, so I promptly jumped into my car and inserted the first cd.

Many of you who know me in real life have drawn a house/person/tree for me and I have analyzed the drawing for you (a little trick I picked up from counseling and art therapy). It appears to be that my problem with lj was mostly my layout. I've been using the Boxer layout for years, but these past six months or so, it has just been insane rampage inducingly slow.
