Another day at work winding down-first English conversation class went relatively well-it seems like everyone just wants to relax, hang out, and learn some English-which is good. Car stuff-I bought a car, but it's located in Saito-roughly 30 min away by car. Went drinking with some friends last night. They all had the day off today, but I didn't, of course. We started at around 11pm, which is about when I usually go to bed-oh well. A New Zealand couple who live and work in Miyazaki scared the hell out of the staff of the toy shop by asking them if they knew where the car keys they had lost somewhere in the airport last January were. 段々暑くなってきて、最近夜に窓を開けて寝てる。この間スクリーンが開いてることを気づかず寝ちゃって、蚊に食われた。首に刺されてキスマークみたいな傷があって、皆は「キスマークやろう」って言ってた。俺の返事はいつも「残念ながら、キスマークを付けてくれる相手は蚊しかおらん」って。あらら～今夜石原主任の送別会に行かんといかん。男子社員ばかりだと思う。どうなるかなぁ...怪しくなりそう。どういうとこに連れて行かれるやろう？

At work, as usual-I arrived back in Japan on March 7th, was in my own apt. by the end of March, but I still don't have internet there, so...I check mail and whatnot at work, when I can. Well, Mariko got up and we waited until 6am or so...no dice. So we went to sleep, but she got up around 8am...I woke up shortly after that, made some phonecalls...the luggage finally arrived at noon. So now I'm gonna crash for an hour or so before we have to head out.

Yeah, so...happy new year. A bit late, I realize. I'm currently hosting my Japanese mom. My parents met her when they came to visit me in Japan over 2 years ago, and now it's our turn to play host.
