A less usual dream

My dreams have been unusually lucid this week for some reason, and last night's was, uh, rather unique.

The central part of the dream was my discovery that I could blow myself.  It seemed that it wasn't all that difficult; I just hadn't really tried before with enough confidence.  So I proceeded.  The "I" that was doing the blowing could tell that

IMO, I would take it to mean that you are involved with something that, for personal reasons, you have convinced yourself to enjoy. But at a more gut honest level, you realize that it isn't what you want it to be and it isnt fulfilling, but you continue doing it out of a mere sense of comfort and routine stability.

The radio could indicate that you are actually longing to hear from someone that you have not heard from in a while... And not anyone in particular either. You long for the feeling of being special and remembered and there are those around you that you know realize this.

Thanks. You're perceptive about these things; the fit is very close. (BTW, all the neighbors had radios, but told me that I had been left one too, which also fits your understanding.)

The problem with dreams, like therapy, is that they're better at telling us where we're at or where we'd like to go than how to get there...
