In happier news
In two weeks Dustin and I will be flying out to Oahu to visit friends for a much needed vacation! Finally! I couldn't hold out until our honeymoon for some relaxation. I'm looking forward to snorkeling.
Dustin and I are planning to board Bunny in a Petsmart Hotel in Canoga park. I think she will have a great time and I am going to pay extra for ( Read more... ) -
Puppy mills to be aired on Oprah tomorrow
I had to give a PSA that Oprah Winfrey will talk about the horror of puppy mills tomorrow. While I'm not a fan of Oprah I am glad she is addressing this issue on the show. When I volunteered at a shelter I met so many dogs that were owner surrendered or abandoned because they are no longer in the cute puppy phase, have health problems, or they ( Read more... ) -
New hobbies
I've immersed myself into two new hobbies this spring which include making pearl necklaces and gardening. I've made one pearl necklace made with tiny 1-2 mm white seed pearls and a few australian crystal cubes that are about the same size. It turned out pretty nice after several attempts with the wrong thread. I'm planning to make my cousin ( Read more... ) -

I finally folded and had to post about celebrities.
Today I watched some of Meredith Vierra's interview of the author of Tom Cruise's unauthorized biography. It was hilarious because you could just feel her anger towards the author. I felt bad for the guy. Five bucks says she is a scientologist.

A sucker is born!!!
This is another warning email about my encounter with Massage Envy. I got a massage for some neck pain from painting and kitchen remodeling. It was great and the therapist taught me stretching exercises afterwards to help. Apparently I should stop cracking my neck because I might damage the nerves in there. Beware of ILD Teleservices, Inc.
On Saturday Dustin, myself, his mom and her partner, and our puppy went to Disneyland. For 20 bucks you can board your dog at their kennel and they provide food and water through Purina. Periodically throughout the day Dustin and I came back to walk her in a little exercise area just outside of the park.

Free groceries!!!
Well they weren't really free. After we bought our house Ralphs sent us a flyer with coupons and we got $46.00 worth of free food including a dozen roses. It was pretty sweet and exciting to use it last night!
