Haven't posted in LJ for a while but I thought it was worth mentioning that I'm 38 weeks and one day pregnant. I am full term and every day that goes by with no baby turns me into even more of a basket case. I feel like I'm becoming an insomniac with all of my itching and sleepless nights. It's been a while since I've posted here. Frankly I have more interaction with people on Facebook but I didn't feel like sharing in that venue. A lot has changed since my last post. This morning I had a final interview with a hospice organization to be their new Volunteer Coordinator. The interview went extremely well and I will find out Monday or Tuesday if I got the job. I feel very confident about my chances because of the interview. However it was narrowed down to two people and I'm psyching myself out that the other ( Read more... )

My father is quite the archer. I took lessons through YMCA with my brother growing up. It was fun and my brother actually won a Junior Olympics tournament. They didn't have one for my age group at that time. It would have been fun to compete. I am very good at grouping arrows together even if I don't hit the center ( Read more... )

Tomorrow I have my first interview with the Department of Aging for a social worker position.  I am extremely nervous though thrilled to finally be moving.  I have been out of work since October 24th.  Ideally I will interview for positions this month, enjoy the holidays, then start my new career the first week of January.  Cross your ( Read more... )
