I can't stand any of my music right now.
The only album I can stand to listen to right now is The Roots' How I Got Over.
I desperately need some new, fresh music.
I've wandered through music stores and everything looks uninteresting. -

It makes me annoyed every time I see the new Arcade Fire album on best-of-the-year lists because it means people's expectations of music are way too low. -
Expansion
Pretty similar to how I just went out and got the Chemical Brothers album for something different (and no real background on the band), I went and got the new Kanye West album because I keep hearing good things. I have never listened to Kanye West before so I am not sure what to expect ( Read more... ) -
Shai Hulud
I'm seeing Shai Hulud tonight with Zack.
I'm "catching up" with their last couple albums (since they haven't actually released something new since '08 and they only have 3 albums proper).
...and I'm remember why I love this band. They pretty much put everything they have into each record. Each song is dense with ideas. -
