Memorial Day Weekend

So, this weekend was ok until Monday. Went and hung out with pisceskat, squirrel_queen and a few other people. Lots of fun, and a good relaxing time. Exactly what I needed (thanks girls!).

Monday however, I was taking a nap to recover from the previous day's drinking and lack of sleep. Woke up to the phone, as ravaprincess needed help moving some of her new roommates furniture. I ( Read more... )

I would have already had coverage, but the insurance claimed we had "roadside assistance". I just didn't realize that the service was designed to assist you in staying on the roadside, not helping you. I have some problems with AAA (because I've worked closely with them in the past), but I think my cell phone has RS service for $5/month. I will certainly have something setup before I get stranded again though.

Glad we could be there to help... sorry you had to walk back to the car but if it makes you feel better Ginger passed out about 10 mins after you left and then I managed to fall off the couch and sleep on the floor for a bit *sigh* so walking, instead of driving with us, was most likly your best bet. Hope today was better.

Walking wasn't bad at all. It was actually really nice out, and I still had to wait at the car for a while (although I'm still pissed they made me miss the best part of the movie).

ooh. po' ickle gary. to reiterate what tina said, yeah. it was probably a LOT safer for you to walk...
tell me if you want help working on your car tho', i will soon have Much more freetime and therefore time to help the Gar-miester tinker with car? car pretty... car go vroom. at least it used to...

Oh yeah, I'm sure I could definately use an extra set of hands. I'm hoping to find out today what the parts are going to cost, and hopefully it won't be much so I can get it done this weekend.

i still feel like it's my fault... I'M SOOOOO SORRY!!!!! poor little byte... i hope she's feeling up to her old self again soon! let me know if there's any thing i can do... run errands... hand you tools... provide distraction... oh, wait, that might not be such a great idea... ;)
