i feel like life has been a crazy roller coaster ride lately. work has been super busy at pip's shop because yasmin is off sick, she should have taken those caffeine pills!! so now i'm trying to make up for her being gone and i've been working on what i'm going to say when i interview neon castles so i can avoid speaking to calix. it's a good thing ( Read more... ) -

i don't know why i didn't think of it sooner, but caffeine pills are the way to go. they've been working better and longer than just drinks, but the crash is a bit harder and tends to happen in the middle of the day, and i'm still awake most of the night. i've been trying really hard though to not lag at work no matter how i'm feeling. it doesn't ( Read more... ) -

i miss my parents more than i thought i would since they left. they had a really good time, and i'm so relieved they did because i think now they feel a little better about me living here. they still kept saying how much they miss me and things aren't the same with me away from home and it made me feel bad, but my life is here. i think they're ( Read more... ) -

my parents are here, i still can't believe they actually made the trip, partly because my dad is a little afraid of flying, and they weren't exactly thrilled at my moving here in the first place, back when i decided i was leaving the states. things have been really good though, i didn't know how much i missed them until they actually got here. they ( Read more... ) -

despite the weather, i managed to have a fun bank holiday. gui and vic and i had a picnic and swimming planned, so we took our picnic inside and i guess we'll swim another time. we just chilled at their place and ate a lot of snacks and watched jurassic park in 3D, my first time watching a 3D movie on a tv! i remember seeing that when i was a kid ( Read more... ) -
