firstashore kept humming TISM's "Everyone Else Has Had More Sex Than Me."

vasco_pyjama is being my one-person ethics committee.

bini_bini thinks I have successfully established a holding pattern. Yippee! And warned me of the dangers of any Filipino papaya skin-whitening soap. After all, I HAD got into this ( Read more... )

I would rather die than show tang'rine arse.
If he wants me, he'll have to wait for it.

Papaya soap? Haha. There was a debate which type of papaya was more effective -- the orange or the green. How about some papaya lotion? It's also available in the orange and green variants. The Pinays' obsession to have fairer skin has been a very strong market, it's already an idustry!

I actually tried to buy some non-whitening moisturiser in Rustan's when I lived in Manila and the bastards didn't actually have any left (or none that I could find!) Since the only way I wouldn't be white was if I had sunburn, I gave up and got it send over from the UK. Not sure whether it works but they have scary adverts showing some woman who has used whitening soap and cream on half her face for a month. She definitely looks white on that half since the other half was still a beautiful brown colour she looked fucken' weird overall...

Ok, ok I'm commenting but I would never support skin-whitening!

Snog him! Snog them all! No arse-baring is required but it tends to ensure future action.

Author's note:

Oh no!!! Shall I edit? It's not any skin whitening though. It's just to remove the tangerine! And er... I meant to email you to ask you if it was okay to use your name in vain! But I could not find your email address. Sorry! Er... do you mind being party of cyber family?

Come now Bridget, of COURSE I want to be part of your cyber family.

More than being philosophically opposed to skin-whitening, I'm just a bit worried about a girl who winds up tangerine making use of any appearance altering product.

After all, I still remember the awful third-degree bikini-line burns you wound up with after following website instructions to "natural" hair removal.

I was hoping you would NEVER bring up those burns ever again! *eyes watering from memory*... *shudder*

Author's note: Entry now changed to more accurately reflect reality, m'dear! This is beginning to screw with my head!

Yes it seems as long as your ovaries haven't been affected, you're still a creature in demand! Those poor country boys! I'm a country girl myself and would happily take up the offer but they speak sooooooo sloooooowly - I'd have left before they got out the marriage proposal! Mind you, every Australian girl should attend at least one B & S in her lifetime. Boots and taffeta are a sight rarely seen together!
