it's all so frustrating.

Being in different dorms than everyone else, things never working out, that sinking feeling again (especially heightened as of late) and just so much more.  It's very annoying that i see others get even remotely close and they feel bad but i don't even get that far.  Some would say that is better; however, i guarentee a ( Read more... )

Most of that could have been written by me. As far as friends go, I always have that feeling, but then one of my friends will do something or say something that reminds me that he/she really does care and wants me around. Though it would definitely be a lot nicer if people did this more often.
And if you do find that girl in college, you'll certainly be glad you stayed in state.

I feel the same way too, Geoff- especially about friends and not going out of state for college. It's like one minute everything's fine and the next I've been completely isolated from an entire group of friends and I don't know what's gone wrong or what's changed between us. There's not much you really can do about it, or I haven't found anything you can do about it yet, beyond be upfront about it and really know who your true friends are. I can honestly say that in my huge group of "friends," I can only call two people true friends and who'd do almost anything for me- and one goes to school on the other side of the country- so I guess it's just knowing that friends are going to come and go but true friends will be there no matter what ( ... )

dude, its late so i can't be super inspiring or anything. But there are a few things i can say that I completely mean. First, we gotta chill, I miss you. And ASU really isn't as bad as the stereotypes. Sure it can be. I know you hate cliches but asu is as good as you make it. I have had some amazing professors. They have changes my life. Seriously, I was doubting coming to ASU most of first semester, bu second semester I looked back and realized that I learned ALOT! A lot about myself, alot about the world, and alot about the subjects of my classes. There are professors that care about you. and you just have to carae back and you will get a lot out of these classes. So ya, ASU isnt as bad as you think. In fact, it's pretty sweet, you just gotta give it a chance.
