I know I did this a week before the new year but I'm just putting it out there that if we're not that close and you're worried about awkwardness, please, feel free to defriend me. I'm sorry that you've been so affected, my dear. I confess - and I've never tried to hide this - that I am against anon memes, and that will likely never change. However, just because I don't frequent them myself and avoid them at all costs doesn't mean that I think other people shouldn't either, and I've known since my old LJ days that you're an advocate, and that has never bothered me. If that's what floats your boat, then I hope that your boat takes you to great and wonderful places of joy. So I really am sorry that things have happened, and that you've been hurt by them. I have no idea if this is coincidence or related, but a friend of mine has been recently quite hurt by an anon meme happening, and I'm happy to remain ignorant, but I hope everyone feels better soon ( ... )
