Facebook's fun, but has lost its luster.
Lots of shallow stuff over there.
Of course, I think I was mostly talking to myself over here, too, lol.

Still...I've been thinking more and more about coming back to occasionally post in the fashion I used to...as a journal. Hmm.

I think I'm going to have to concede that I prefer Facebook over LiveJournal, lol. I feel like I shouldn't...I do like to write, and I like to read other peoples' entries. I just never have the time! Facebook is like the lazy person's LiveJournal. With a sentence or two I can update my status every day, and I don't have to do a giant entry ( Read more... )

More evidence that we should find a way to turn off reproduction in people until they can prove they're worthy of it. I mean seriously. You have to take a test to get a driver's license, you have to apply for a credit card, but any crackhead can be "responsible" for an unlimited number of children and babies. It's crazy.

I'm sure everyone has heard of the Austrian man who imprisoned his daughter in a room / cell in the basement of their house for 24 years, where he raped her repeatedly, fathered seven children, and let one of them die by not taking it for medical treatment. I just read this news story about his sentencing, and this bit jumped out at me:

I know I said I'd post more, but the only thing I can think of to talk about right now is the proposal that I promised months ago I'd "discuss more later", lol. And I like it a lot, it's a good story, but I'm soooooo sleepy right now. Meh...will do later.

And....facebook sorta scares me.

It's been kind of a crappy past few days. I finally did make it home, but fell ill about 1/8 of the way through the first flight, lol.
