Does anyone else hate it when they write a multiple choice test and decide to change one of the answers at the last minute, only to go home and discover that the original choice was the correct one. I sure do!

So, I just saw the Incredibles. It was a great movie, but very different from the previous Pixar movies. However, it was not my favourite Pixar film. Tonight, while biking home, I got a little careless. I was making my final turn into my driveway, but unbeknownst to me, the road was a little slippery, covered with slippery leaves, and I was going too fast. Today my anthropolgy prof was nice enough to offer to move her exam to a different day for anyone with three exams on one day. So I decided to take her up on her offer and got it moved to Thursday, Dec. 9, the first day of exams. I think it's a good change, although it is the day before my OS final.

Worst final exam schedule ever! On Tuesday, December 14, I have not one, not two, but three final exams. And amazingly they don't conflict with each other, so I don't have an excuse to write one of them at some other time. I got three offers from my 10 interviews. They are for RIM and NCR here in Waterloo and Bridgewater Systems in Ottawa. I've narrowed down my choice to RIM or NCR, and I'm having a very difficult time deciding between the two. I think NCR will be more interesting work, but I think that RIM might lead to better career oppurtunities. With only two ( Read more... )

On Friday around 4:30 am, my sister had her second child, another boy. And so the number of nephews I have just doubled :) His name is Shawn.

I hurt my back at work today. I was lifting a monitor from a desk to a chair, and when I was bending over to put it down, I got a sharp pain in my back. I visited a chiropractor right after work, and apparently my back muscles were spasming. The pain got pretty bad at times.
