Once upon a time there was this beautiful movie, Der Himmel über Berlin (Wings Of Desire). It had a great otherworldly feel, stark backgrounds, scenes in goth clubs (featuring Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds), a beautiful French trapeze artist in a run-down circus, and Peter Falk as himself. FYI, iTunes New Zealand store has opened. Time to get a prezzy card - I don't have a credit card so I'll buy one of those prepay ones and use that to get the tunes flowing.

To start with, there was this, which topic drifted into discussion on faith. Having said I used to be atheist and am now Christian, a friend from back in the atheist days, who has made the opposite conversion said "Christian -> atheist I can understand.
